Senior Quantity Surveyor – Civils – Sierra Leone
Overview
A Senior Quantity Surveyor is required by a leading European main contractor as part of a mining / civil's scope in Sierra Leone.
Our Client
Ping International Recruitment are partnered with a large European contractor who work across West Africa delivering large projects in civils and mining . They are actively looking to add an experienced Senior QS to one of their projects in Sierra Leone, Africa.
The Role
The role available is a Senior QS position which will manage the commercial and contractual elements of the project. This will include subcontract matters, BoQs, team management, finance and cash flow matters. The position will report into the Project Manager on site.
The Ideal candidate
– 7-10 years experience working as a Quantity Surveyor
– Degree qualified
– Background in Civils Construction
– Stable background with main contractors
– Background in civils, infrastructure and mining projects
– Happy to work on rotation – single status – FIFO
– MRICs or working towards chartership
The salary / benefits
The role is paying circa £70k GBP plus housing, transport, flights and all insurances. The role is a rotational position based on a 7 week on 2 week off rotation. All food, accommodation and flights are provided.
