Quantity Surveyor – Bahamas – Civils
Overview
A Quantity Surveyor is required in Bahamas, Caribbean by a leading contractor who specialises in Under Ground Utilities, Sewer Treatment Plants, Roadwork's and Site development.
Our Client
Ping International Recruitment are working with a leading firm in the Caribbean who are looking for a experienced Quantity Surveyor to work on a large civils package ans cope of works on a newly awarded civils and roads scheme. Our client is a specialist in civils and road construction throughout the Caribbean region.
The Role
The role available is a Quantity Surveyor position which will report into the Project Manager and will lead all site commercial activity on site and will report to the Project Manager. The role will deal with local subcontractors, suppliers and cost management works.
The ideal candidate will have:
– Experience as a Project Engineer/QS
– Construction Management Degree / BSc Quantity Surveying
– Experience in Under Ground Utilities, Sewer Treatment Plants, Roadwork's and Site development
– Experience internationally desirable but not essential
– Happy to lead a small site team
– Main contracting background.
Salary / Benefits
The role is available immediately and paying a NET salary in the region of $90k USD per annum plus benefits.
