Project Director – UAE – Buildings
Overview
A Project Director is required in the UAE by a leading GCC based main contractor to deliver a challenging new building project in Abu Dhabi.
Our Client
We are working with a well known GCC based main contractor to help with the delivery of a challenging new building in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Our client is a specialist in construction with civils, infrastructure and building projects their core area of expertise. They have operations in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait.
The role
The role available is a Project Director position which will lead the construction of a large challenging new building in Abu Dhabi. The project has been just awarded and has a cycle of around 30 months from start to handover. The project will require stakeholder management, leading the project and engineering teams through to commercial and full P&L responsibility for the project. The role is challenging and will require a fully committed project director with a strong background in the UAE.
The ideal candidate will have:
– Experienced Project Director
– Strong UAE (Abu Dhabi preferred) project experience in the last 5 years
– Background in buildings construction
– Employment history predominantly with main contractors
– Degree qualified
– Chartered engineer
– Happy to work and live in Abu Dhabi on a residential basis
The salary / package
The salary and package is negotiable for the candidates but a ballpark figure of around 65-70k AED per month all inc is realistic for such a position
