A Project Manager is required by a leading marine and civils contractor for a new challenging marine project in Saudi Arabia.

Ping International Recruitment are working with a specialist marine and civils business who have recently been awarded 2 amazing marine projects in Saudi Arabia.
Our client are one the largest contractors throughout the Kingdom and have an excellent reputation for delivery and quality. They are looking to add two experienced Project Managers to work on one of 2 projects.
Our client are mega project which is developing an iconic, world-class destination, blending natural and developed landscapes, and offering unique human-centric experiences for residents and visitors alike.
The destination will house six distinctive clusters that blend real with virtual architectural and engineering innovations to create a destination like no other.
The Role
The Project Manager role will lead and be responsible for the site management of the project. Preparing, developing, and ensuring the implementation of project-specific policies and procedures. Preparing operational plans and annual budget estimates for project activities.
Developing and updating the project's organisational structure and ensuring its alignment with company policies and directives.
Adopting and monitoring the implementation of project-specific initiatives and plans.
Adopting, developing, monitoring, and evaluating performance indicators related to the implementation of the operational plan, initiatives, and projects.
Allocating the necessary resources for the implementation of physical and human projects.
Planning and organising project stages from design to delivery.
Reviewing and approving project schedules and deadlines.
Approving the allocation of necessary resources for the project and managing the project team.
The project will involve large marine piles, dredging activities and all round marine and infrastructure works. The site team will be a mixture of local and expat work force and will require the person to have superb team management and engineering skills. The role will report into the GM for the business and is a permanent residential position on the island.
The ideal candidate will have:
– Experience as a Project Manager
– Specialist in marine construction
– Project background in jetty, harbour, port and marine works.
– Experience working in the Middle East or remote locations.
– Degree qualified
– Main contracting background
– Stable employment history
– Happy to work on a single status
Salary and Benefits
The position is available immediately and paying a net monthly salary of around $17k-19k USD per month plus housing, transport and flights.
