Facilities Maintenance Supervisor / Superintendent – MEP – Guyana
Overview
A Facilities Maintenance Supervisor / Superintendent is required by a leading International business to lead the maintenance of a large building as part of a facilities maintenance program in Guyana, South America.
The Client
Ping International Recruitment are working with a large international business who work in construction, oil & gas services and facilities management works. They have operations throughout Europe, Asia, Africa and South America. They have a number of on-going facilities management projects in Guyana and are looking to add an experienced Maintenance Supervisor / Superintendent to their team.
The role
This is responsible for assisting with and monitoring ongoing maintenance operations at their designated project. The position will be tasked with ensuring the quality standards and the safety and security of the site, define project needs, oversee staff performance, and keep track of progress.
Responsibilities:
– Ensure all safety guidelines are strictly followed.
– Make the initial analysis of any maintenance task, both PPM and Reactive. – Make determination of how a task will be approached.
– Oversee manage and mentor the skilled workers of the key disciplines.
– Oversee and manage the subcontractor teams on site.
– Perform quality control on all maintenance work
– Report progress to Project Manager
– Other duties as assigned by the Project Manager
The ideal candidate:
– Experienced Maintenance Supervisor / Superintendent
– Background in MEP and external maintenance matters
– Stable employment history
– Able to lead a team of maintenance technicians
– Happy to work in Guyana on rotation on a single status
– Experience working overseas previously
The salary / package
The role is paying a NET annual salary of $75-80k USD plus housing, transport, flights and insurances. The role comes with a 60 day on 30 day off rotation.
