Construction Manager – Nigeria – Roads
Overview
A Construction Manager is required in Nigeria by a leading International main contractor to work as part of a large new road project in Southern Nigeria.
Our Client
Ping International Recruitment are working with a leading main contractor who have a global reputation for construction and are one of the largest brands in the Africa marketplace. They have a large order book of projects across civils, infrastructure, oil and gas and building projects.
The Role
The position will report into the Project Manager leading the site based team and driving activity and delivery on site. The role will be in charge of plant and machinery and all labour and engineers on the project. The project is a large 50km road and flyover project based in the South of Nigeria.
The Ideal Candidate
– Experience working in Africa
– Degree qualified
– Stable employment background with main contractors
– 5-10 years experience on road projects, ideally with flyovers
– Experience with MS Project, Primavera and other technical softwares
– Happy to work in Nigeria on a single status
The package
The position is paying a very strong NET salary of around 90k GBP net per annum plus housing, transport, flight allowances and 40 days leave per annum.
